Finally, a place for IT "shopping" questions.

I've been a ServerFault participant for quite a long time now.  Four years, and five months, to be precise.

I've gained over 20,000 reputation points, and recently been elected to a community moderator.  It's still one of my favourite go-to places when I need an answer for something.

However, one thing that's not allowed anywhere (seemingly) on the StackExchange network is the so-called Shopping Question.  

While I agree, for the most part that traditional shopping questions go out of date remarkably quickly, I don't believe that it's a good enough reason to ban them outright.  

I was talking about this in ServerFault Chat recently, and I thought it was about time to have a go at a spin-off site, just for shopping questions.

It's a little rough around the edges, it's basically just OSQA with a couple of minor modifications, hosted by me.
