I decided after a fair bit of to-ing and fro-ing that Wordpress was not really meeting my demands for a website any more. Most of the stuff I write these days is closer to articles than blog posts.
Wordpress pages still run everything through stripslashes and addquotes and all the rest of that PHP nonsense, because nobody seems to be able to write a blogging engine that doesn't expose the host server to a metric pantload of bugs and vulnerabilities.
So my blog is now more blog-ish, and is really more techie than personal. For personal stuff, I suggest you track me down on facebook, twitter, and so on.
